A popular position of the growing culture of positivity is to be one's own hype man. Following the wokeness, President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) has praised his leadership in terms of the policies his administration has gifted Nigeria, saying that the citizens will re-elect the All Progressive Congress (APC) because of his policies. Truely, yet arguable, there have been many alternative policies of the Buhari-led administration, that have proven to be progressive.
Nigerians will vote APC again because of these Buhari's policies [Pulse Editor's Opinion]
Analyzing these personal values of PMB only brings to perspective that Nigerians and the Nigerian media may be focusing on the empty half of the cup.

The president has pushed a personal policy of international exposure, as he might be the most traveled president in Nigeria’s history. This is owed to several conferences, meetings, and health tours. As a national influencer, this value has encouraged many Nigerians to seek new experiences in new dispensations; hence, driving the japa revolution of 2021.
Nigerians definitely want a well packaged President in 2023. Say all you want about PMB, but he knows how to look good before the people and the media. He re-sells the value of appearance irrespective of internal battles, literally. Despite the haggard international brand image of Nigeria, a thread from his agbada can never be out of place. One must learn from the progressives to carry problems with grace.
No one fights harder for Animal protection than an all-progressive-leader. While many Southern governors had banned Cows from eating or entry into their states, PMB advocated for the rights of the suya-raw-material. The Western world has long pushed the preservation of animals as a progressive value. Nigeria has finally align with the ever-right-West by demonstrating that cow lives matter too.
The big brother policy demonstrated by the ruling elect had been the most beneficial to Ghana. Nigeria decided to take a step back from the positive limelight for Ghana. The hostilities on the Nigerian communication, tech and crypto space are only a distraction from the bigger plan. The progressives are letting Ghana take on the African giant stage, thereby causing the lil-bro nation to gain the attention it rightly earned. ‘Be the bigger person’, the progressives are saying to all the Nigerian jollof warriors.
The next best thing to do, after self-hype, is to borrow with your full chest. The progressives have driven Nigeria’s debt to its historical heights, with no clear payback plan. Your confidence should never be ruled by your outstanding debts. While the Punch suggests Buhari to be a dictating “Major General”, they also have news evidence that PMB consistently “seeks approval from the house of representatives” before borrowing.
A humble, yet confident, and progressive leader is what the ruling party had offered us. We can only trust that the APC will continue to supply leadership figures with policies that actually help the individual Nigerian in their personal lives. Analyzing these personal values of PMB only brings to perspective that Nigerians and the Nigerian media may be focusing on the empty half of the cup.
