This is coming barely three days after Yahaya Sharif-Aminu, a musician in the state was sentenced to death by hanging for blasphemy.

The presiding Judge of the upper sharia court situated at Kofar Kudu, Ibrahim Yola, handed the death sentence to Abdu on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

Confirming the sentence, Baba Jibo, public relations officer of the court said the prosecuting counsel tendered all the evidence before the court and the convict confessed to committing the crime.
