Galadima died on Wednesday, March 22, while jogging with Governor Simon Lalong at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos, the state capital.

His death has been confirmed by the state’s Director of Press Affairs, Emmanuel Nanle.

“Yes, the commissioner slumped while jogging and was rushed to the Plateau Specialist Hospital, where he died,” Nanle said.

“Doctors tried to stabilize him but could not. We have lost him,” he added.

Galadima’s death comes after the tragic passing of Pius Dashe, the Chief Administration Officer of the state’s Government House, on Thursday, March 16.

Plateau also lost its Deputy Chief of Staff, Alhaji Yusuf Hawaja, on February 19.
