The members of Congress, led by Representative Frederica Wilson, sported red items of clothing in solidarity with the girls who are still missing.

US Congress hosts 6 escapee Chibok girls

The US Congress, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, hosted 6 Chibok Girls who managed to escape from Boko Haram captivity after being taken in April 2014.

The members of Congress, led by Representative Frederica Wilson, sported red items of clothing in solidarity with the girls who are still missing.

They also raised "Bring Back Our Girls" placards outside the Congress building to demand the girls’ rescue.

The over 200 Chibok girls were abducted on April 14, 2014, and most of them are still being held captive.
