US President, Barack Obama is set to hold a discussion on the fight against Boko Haram with Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, the White House has said.

The White House disclosed this via a statement released on Thursday, June 25, 2015.

"The visit will underscore the United States' ... commitment to strengthening and expanding our partnership with Nigeria’s new government," the White House said in a statement.

Obama and Buhari both attended the G7 summit earlier this month but it’s not clear if the men had a one-on-one discussion.
