During a press conference today, the Chief Executive of BMW, Harald Krueger, collapsed.

The 49-year-old executive falling

Earlier today, the Chief Executive of BMW, Harald Krueger, fell during a presentation at the 2015 Frankfurt auto show.

Standing beside a blue hybrid electric i8 super car, the CEO staggered a bit while talking before falling.

Immediately, two men came to help him up and take him off the stage.

The spokesman for BMW, Maximillian Schoberl, later revealed that the CEO had been ill before the presentation, adding that he was now 'recovering well,' after his examination by a doctor.

Unfortunately, this was the 49-year-old executive's first appearance as BMW’s chief at the Frankfurt auto show.

He will be replaced by Chief Financial Officer, Friedrich Eichiner, at another press conference.
