Team World, Team Africa kick-off tournament
'Africa Beach Polo' kicked-off yesterday, 12 March, 2016 with the team World vs team Africa entertaining guest at the event.
The first game saw a mixed Team World, with a player representing the UK, Germany and Argentina play against Team Africa, with players from Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon entertaining guest as they slugged it out on the polo arena. The arena was electrified with the movement of the horses, the stroking of the ball and the lifting of the beach sand by the horses.
Nigeria professional world recognized polo players Yinka Alakija and Neku Atawodi included the players on the polo arena. The fun continues with local players from all around Nigeria play over a 6 week period to compete for the inaugural Africa Beach Polo Cup.
The young talented musician, song writer and guitarist Beebee Bassey held guest spellbound with her National Anthem rendition as she opened the event while Godwin Strings who has redefined violin music with his style also entertained the crowd.

The polo tournament will be televised for the first time as a league to all 54 countries in Africa through Super Sports,
