World's oldest identical twins die 3-weeks apart at 103

The only recognized world's oldest identical twins took their togetherness to the grave as they died weeks apart.

The world's oldest identical twin sisters, Gleyns Thomas and Florence Davies, showed their togetherness even in death when the died few weeks apart after living together most of their lives.

The first to go, according to reports in The Telegraph, was Thomas who passed on at the ripe old age of 103 years on April 23, 2015.

Her sister, Davies, according to family members, was so heartbroken that she also died three weeks later on May 20.

According to Guinness World Book of Records, the identical twins were born in 1911 in Wales and for most of their lives, were inseparable, even sharing a room until one of them got married.

In their final days, the sisters were living at the Abermill Care Home in Caerphilly, Wales in adjoining rooms.

The sisters made the record books when it was reported in 2014 that they were the oldest female twins alive.

The sisters are survived by a total of five children, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
