Man butchered during clash in Lagos (Graphic Photo)

A territorial clash between two groups in the Lagos Island area of Lagos has led to the murder of one man with several others injured.

According to Olorunshola Akinmade who videotaped the clash and posted it on his Facebook wall, the clash which occurred on Odufa Street in the area saw the thugs wielding dangerous weapons ranging from machetes, cutlasses, axes, bottles, and stones.

Residents said that the fight broke out when a masquerade named Adakeja in the area, was prevented from parading the street by some youths in the area.

The action led to a serious argument between supporters of the masquerade and the youths, resulting in the bloody fight and in the end, the unfortunate man was butchered, while several others were injured.
