Can you have sex on the 1st date?

Sex on the first date means a lot of things to different people.  For some it means the wave of attraction and desire was too strong to be ignored, and for others, its a simple casual act of taking what they would have gotten anyways, in the long run.

Conflicting opinions surround the subject and while some feel it might not make any difference in the relationship, others frown on it, believing its not ideal.
