Man Rapes 16-Month-Old Baby In Bauchi

How could a sane man decide to rape a mere baby? Well, that is what a married man, Annas Adamu, did in Bauchi State.

The Bauchi State Police Command has its hands filled with the task of determining the sanity or otherwise, of a 20-year-old man, Annas Adamu, who violently raped a 16-month-old baby in Ningi, the headquarters of Ningi Local Government Area of the state.

Reports have it that Adamu, who is married, was arrested in the very act while defiling the innocent child in his matrimonial home and handed over to the shocked police officers who seem to think he must be demented to carry out such an act.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), DSP Haruna Mohammed, released a statement confirming the dastardly act:

On Sunday, October 19, at about 6.00 a.m., police detectives attached to Ningi Area Command arrested one Annas Adamu, male and 20-year-old of Stadium road, Ningi Local Government Area.

Mohammed added that Adamu has confessed to the crime, saying that the devil pushed him into the despicable act and would soon be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.

Meanwhile, the baby was rushed to the General Hospital, Ningi, for medical examination, where it was confirmed that she was actually raped as penetration was confirmed in the medical report.
