Young man caught smoking hemp chained to desk

A young man who was caught smoking Indian hemp, popularly called 'Igbo' in local parlance in the premises of a school in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, was given the kind of treatment he never expected.

According to a witness, the man was nabbed inside a classroom in the school with several wraps of the weed smoking his life away and was chained to desk at the school's security post by the people who caught him with the thinking that he could run mad due to the large amount of the weed that was found with him.

It took the intervention of his family members to free him from his captors.
