A waste truck which operated in the exclusive 1004 Flats in Victoria Island, Lagos State, rendered some residents speechless when its brakes failed and ran into some park cars damaging some of them.

The scene of the accident
According to a witness who sent in the photo of the incident, the accident happened at about 1am on Wednesday while the residents were fast asleep and the truck driver could have escaped but for the security men at the estate who apprehended him.
