Woman murdered while preaching in Abuja for burial July 23

The female preacher allegedly killed by Muslim fundamentalists in Abuja will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 23.

The late Deaconess Eunice Elisha

According to a release by her family, the mother of seven will be buried in Abuja by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RRCG), after a service of songs to be held in her honour at her residence in the Gbazango community in Kubwa, a satellite town in Bwari Area Council, on Friday, July 22.

The woman was allegedly murdered by some Muslim youths on the orders of an Imam in charge of a Mosque in the area she used to preach.

It was gathered that while Olawale was doing her early morning preaching in the area, the Islamic cleric ordered her to leave the area but when she went about her preaching, he ordered some boys to chase her away.

But in their zealousness to please their Imam, the youths began stoning the woman and even after she fell to the ground, pleading for help, the boys kept stoning her while the Imam watched, till she gave up the ghost.
