Esther Laizer, 55, a housewife, has told an Ikorodu Customary Court in Lagos, that she denied her husband sex because he is fond of saying that her private part irritates him.

Esther, a teacher, who made this known while testifying in the divorce petition brought by her husband, Oluwole Laizer on Wednesday, also denied allegations leveled by her husband.
She, however, appealed to the court to save her 31 years marriage, adding that she did not want to divorce her husband.
She said:

“I have never shown any disrespect to my husband neither have I disrupt the church of God. I see no reason why I should allow a man who complains on daily basis to have sex with me. I don’t want to leave this marriage please help me beg him."
Oluwole Laizer, 65, a cleric, had urged the court to dissolve his 31-year-old marriage to his fourth wife over disrespect to church of God.
The petitioner, who resides at Laizer Estate, Gloryland in Ikorodu, had also told the court that his wife had denied him sex for a very long time.
He lamented:
“I am just fed up with the marriage, there seems to be no love anymore. She usually rains curses on my church on daily basis.

She doesn’t respect the church anymore, she walks into the church anytime she likes and she has this nonchalant attitude which jeopardised my love for her.
She has been behaving unruly since we lost our first child. In fact, she has denied me sex continuously. I am fed up, please separate us."
The case was adjourned till September 14 by the President of the court, Mr Olu Adebiyi, for possible reconciliation
