Woman finds live snail in her sandwich

For her trouble and inconvenience, she was paid £25 by Tesco.

 

37 year old Hannah Scott bought more than what she bargained for at Tesco where she bought a sandwich. Thinking the sandwich would go down as delicious, she was shocked when she found a live snail tucked in the sandwich.

She bit into the Tesco sandwich, and she found a snail, a living snail in her food. The snail was in sandwich made of tikka and mango chutney.

For her trouble and inconvenience, she was paid £25 by Tesco. Her compensation came 14 days after. Hannah Scott who comes from Stallingborough, Lincolnshire feels Tesco should have paid more.

Hannah took the sandwich straight back to the store to complain, but it wasn't until two weeks later that the compensation offer came in.
