Grammy award winner, Toni Braxton reveals she committed a secret abortion 10 years ago which left her full of guilt and fear of what God's wrath would be like.

In her recently published memoire "Unbreak My Heart", the singer admits that the abortion was more centred on convenience rather than the fear of abnormalities. But she agrees to feeling a deep sense of guilt especially considering her strict Christian background.

According to New York Daily News reported, the singer was in the middle of a six-month prescription for Accutane, a strong anti-acne that is said to potentially impact foetuses when she discovered she was with child for then-boyfriend, Keri Lewis.

Braxton later married Lewis with whom she shares two sons- Diezel, 11, who is autistic, and 12-year-old Denim. Now she is troubled if Diezel's autism was God's retribution for her decision to end the earlier pregnancy and whether her parents' messy divorce and her lupus diagnosis in 2010 were additional punishments for what she did years ago.
