Singer announces date for concert at Indigo at O2 London Arena

Tiwa Savage has announced the date to her ''The Savage Tour'' holding at the Indigo at O2 Arena in London.

Tagged ''The Savage Tour'', the London edition, which is scheduled for the Indigo at the O2 Arena has now been announced to hold on August 24th.

The past weeks have seen Tiwa Savage and her team release videos and clips building up to the event, and with the date now officially out, the tickets for the concert are already selling out fast.

This will make the singer the second Nigerian artist in under three months to headline an event at the almost 3,000 capacity Indigo at the O2 Arena in London following after Adekunle Gold.

Friday June 29, Adekunle Gold held a memorable concert at the IndigO2 Arena, one which he describes as his biggest yet, the event was sold out and witnessed performances from other supporting acts with his set with Simi becoming a trending topic on social media.

Tiwa Savage will be joining the likes of Wizkid, D'banj, Femi Kuti alongside international superstars like Jay Z, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and more at 'The Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100' concert holding in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 2nd.

The event inspired by the former South African leader, Nelson Mandela aims to celebrate the legacy of Mandela with the aim of ending extreme poverty by 2030.

According to an interview with Billboard, “What’s great about Global Citizen is that it gives artists an opportunity to use our music and our platforms to motivate and encourage activists to speak out about the issues that are affecting millions around us,” says Tiwa Savage.
