Titled “The Bicameral Mind,” HBO has released a trailer for the season finale which will air on Sunday, December 4, 2016.

The upcoming episode is directed by Christopher Nolan who is also the show creator.

The series stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth and Clifton Collins, Jr.

Created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the one-hour drama is based on the 1973 film of the same name, which was written and directed by American novelist Michael Crichton.

Executive produced by  J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub, and Bryan Burk, "Westworld" premiered its first season on October 2016.

On Monday, November 14, 2016, HBO announced that the dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin will return for a second season.
