Multiple award-winning actress and Founder of the Arise Monalisa Foundation, Monalisa Chinda, marked her 40th birthday with friends and colleagues at a private birthday dinner on Saturday, 13 September 2014.The terrific evening of fine wine, jazz and unlimited joy held at the upscale Villa Medici in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The actress was also appointed as the first Slum2School Ambassador.Celebrities that stepped out to celebrate the award winning actress included Joke Silva, Tonye Cole, Honourable Kingsley Kuku, Honourable Joy Okunu, Elizabeth Benson Ameye, Mai Atafo, Uti Nwachukwu Julius Agwu, AY, Segun Arinze, Rucky Sanda, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Basorge Tariah, Olisa Adibua, Zik Zulu Okafor, Lola Maja-Okojevoh, Patrick & Ireti Doyle, Gloria Ibru amongst others.The actress started her birthday  with a charity walk alongside her colleagues where she spearheaded sponsoring 200 less privileged children to school through her Arise Monalisa Foundation.
