Reality star, Khloe Kardashian and ex husband, NBA star, Lamar Odom are not officially divorced, a rep for the Los Angeles Superior Court has revealed.
The new shocking development was confirmed on Wednesday, October 14, less than 24 hours after Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel.
The court rep says that the judge has yet to sign the final judgment documents as of Oct. 14.
This means that Khloe is set to receive the NBA star's fortune upon his death, which is estimated to be around the tune of $50m.
Though Kardashian, 31, first filed for divorce in December 2013, she and Odom, 35, didn't sign the documents until this past July.
It took nearly two years for both parties, to take the final step in completing the process.
"They saw each other when she was in Vegas," an insider told Us weekly at the time. "And both signed the divorce documents together."
Khloe was said to be "inconsolable"after learning about Odom's condition and remained by his side overnight.
Sisters, Kim Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner are also currently with Khloe at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, where the basketball player remains in critical condition.
A source close to the Kardashians also said that on Wednesday, Odom had suffered several strokes overnight.
The same insider revealed that a significant amount of cocaine was found in his system, although Dennis Hof, the owner of the brothel where Odom was found unconscious, revealed that there had been no signs of drugs during the star's stay.
