According to reports Ini Edo is a Special Adviser in Akwa Ibom.

Ini Edo is not the first actress to get a political appointment. Hilda Dokubo was appointed Special Adviser (SA) to the former governor of Rivers state, Governor Peter Odili some years ago.
Nollywood actress Nkiru Sylvanus was made the Special Assistant on Lagos State Affairs to Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha in 2011.
