Secondary school students suspended over homosexuality

The management made this decision to not only ensure the institution progresses, but to also serve as a deterrent to others.

Three students at the Government College Ughelli have been indefinitely suspended for partaking in homosexual activities.

According to Vanguard, this was disclosed yesterday during the reunion and Annual General Meeting of the Old Boys Association, GCOBA.

The school principal,  Mr. Vincent Useh, the management made this decision to not only ensure the institution progresses, but to also serve as a deterrent to others.

President General of the association, Professor Omatete Oristsegbemi, advised parents to be diligent in the upbringing of their wards, adding that the association would not condone any act of indiscipline from any student.
