According to the cleric, attendees should expect to receive great blessings as the retreat will usher in a ‘new era.’
The statement read: “While formally announcing the Easter retreat through satellite last Monday, the respected cleric charged the entire followership of the church to fully attend the three-day annual event, which promises manifold spiritual and physical blessings, charging them never to allow anything, however, desirable, to hinder them from receiving what God would do in their lives.
“Pastor Kumuyi also reminded the congregants that the retreat period offers a great opportunity for preparing every heaven-bound saint to keenly await the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
“He equally charged them to actively invite those outside the fold of God’s kingdom to attend, noting that God’s blessings awaited those who would dare heed His entreaty to return to Him in penitence and repentance.”
The retreat themed, ‘Heirs of His Kingdom’ will hold from Thursday (today) to Sunday at the Deeper Life Conference Centre, KM 42 Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
