Despite the ongoing challenges, the popular preacher remains hopeful.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome chooses to have faith in Nigeria as the country marks 58 years of independence.

According to Vanguard, the President of Believers Love World, aka Christ Embassy, shared this at a service held in Effurun, Delta State.

The popular preacher said he believes that change is possible "if we anchor on God."

"I see Nigeria being a great country again by the grace of God," Pastor Oyakhilome added.

Pastor Oyakhilome says 2018 is 'the Year of the Supernatural'

Earlier this year, the cleric released his prophecies at the New Year's Eve Service.

The Christ Embassy president declared that this year is loaded with blessing in seven areas - supernatural supply; supernatural strength; supernatural abilities; supernatural insight; supernatural wisdom; supernatural knowledge; and, supernatural health!

"There's an intervention from the Heavens; angels are ministering, and the Lord Himself is taking center stage! You're going to see the unexpected. You're about to see the unimaginable," Pastor Oyakhilome concluded.
