Watch Out Madonna! Rihanna Has the Second Highest Number 1 Dance Singles Ever

As we would say in local Nigerian parlance, Rihanna is not smiling at all. Since she hit public consciousness in 2004 as Jay Z's latest prodigy, Rihanna has gone on to release 7 studio albums and 12 number 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 becoming the youngest artist to achieve this feat...and she's not done breaking records.

As at the beginning of the week, the Barbados native's single «Right Now» made it to number one on the dance charts making it her 20th number one Dance Single and surpassing Janet Jackson's previous record of 19. She's now second only to pop/dance queen, Madonna who has 43 number one dance singles.

Music is not the only way Rihanna pushes the limits, her hair and fashion are constantly in the spotlight as she never ceases to question the norm and give her spin on trends. Earlier in the year, she teamed up with cosmetic giants M.A.C for her line of products and her Riri Woo lipstick famously sold out barely after 3 hours of release! Talk about record breaking which is why we say, Rihanna is definitely not smiling at all!
