NBTE partners NISLT to train laboratory technologists/scientists

The Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) is holding a five-day training workshop for laboratory technologists/scientists in partnership with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

Tagged NBTE announced on its website that the training workshop will hold in two phases, in March and April.

"Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology in collaboration with National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) wishes to announce the training workshop aimed at updating the instrumentation capabilities of Nigerian technologists/scientists and other users of science equipment," the announcement read.

"This training workshop will cover all areas of science laboratory instruments and is aimed at exposing Nigerian technologists/scientists to modern analytical instruments in biological, chemical and physical sciences especially modern digitalized versions and recent innovations."

Phase II is currently holding at NISLT Headquarters, Ibadan and will end on the 7th of March while Phase III will hold from the 19th to the 25th of April, 2015 at the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede,  Owerri.

gathered that the Phase I of the workshop took place at Kaduna Polytechnic from the 17th to the 21st of November, 2014.
