Midfielder hangs out with girlfriend

As Chelsea continues to falter in the new season, Nigerian midfielder John Obi Mikel is spending time with his girlfriend Olga Diyachenko.

The Russian beauty took to her Instagram to share a photo of herself and her Nigerian boyfriend Mikel relaxing on a lounger.

The photo do not show their faces, as Olga showed off her pedicured feet along with that of her boyfriend.

Diyachencko and Mikel started dating in 2013 after reportedly meeting him in London where her millionaire father runs a chain of businesses.

She is also reportedly related to Chelsea's Russian billionaire owner, Roman Abramovich.

"I contacted Obi Mikel, called him on phone four times, the phone kept on ringing nobody picked it up, I sent him an SMS and got no response," Oliseh said.

"But I called the phone rang three times and he picked it up and I spoke with him, told him to concentrate on his game.

"After the game he came to my hotel and we met and I told him my plans for the national team. I left to Liverpool to meet the other player and I spent about six hours to go there and back but there was no response from Mikel until I returned here.

This is not the first time Mikel has ignored the invitations from the national team.

Former Super Eagles coach, i revealed that the Chelsea midfielder did not reply his messages before he left him out of the team to face Chad in the 2017 African  Nations Cup qualifiers in June.

Instead of representing his country in the AFCON qualifiers, Mikel instead chose to spend his summer holidays with his girlfriend, Olga Diyachenko in Dubai.
