PSG players tease French star Mbappe with contract renewal on his birthday

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe celebrated his birthday on Monday, December 21, 2021.

Mbappe turned 23 and reflected on his special day in a post on social media.

On his official Instagram account, along with a photo with a birthday cake, Mbappe wrote, "Thank you all for all the messages and this unconditional love on a daily basis."

Brazilian football icon Pele also took to his social media account to celebrate the French star on his special day.

Pele wrote, "@k.mbappe, I wish you a happy birthday. I hope that your star continues to shine and that you fly higher and higher."

Mbappe posted several photos of his birthday party celebration on his Instagram stories.

The France International was spotted posing with a PSG jersey at the party.

Posing for a picture, Mbappe was presented with a PSG jersey along with teammates Sergio Ramos, Marco Verratti, Achraf Hakimi, Rafinha, Keylor Navas, Ander Herrera, Juan Bernat, and Danilo Pereira.

Not spotted in any of the photos were Mbappe's strike partners Brazilian Neymar and Argentine maestro Lionel Messi.

The jersey presented to Mbappe by his teammates was with the 2050 number.

It was a clear message from Mbappe to his teammates that he should extend his stay with PSG.

Mbappe has been linked with a move to Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.

His contract expires at the end of this season which makes him one of the most sought-after players in the 2022 summer transfer window.
