Mane who is a Muslim helped was at the mosque he worships just hours after scoring in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over on Saturday, September 1.
In a new viral video on Twitter, the £90,000-a-week Liverpool star is seen helping out with the cleaning of the toilet and the wudhu area of the Al-Rahma mosque in Liverpool.
Devoted Muslim
The wudhu area is where Muslims perform the washing ritual before prayer.
The 26-year-old is a devoted Muslim and often celebrate his goals by performing sujood - touching his head on the floor and worshipping.
Mane’s father was an imam at a local mosque at the small village of Bambali, in the south of Senegal, where he grew up.
The Senegal international has also travelled home to be with his international teammates ahead of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Madagascar on Sunday, September 8.
