"Jesus was an illegal immigrant"

Reverend Ryan Eller, executive director of ‘Define American’ in an interview with CNN on Monday stated that people should stop using the word ‘illegal immigrant’ as  Jesus was an illegal immigrant too.

He defended  his point with the Gospel of Matthew, saying Jesus’s family move from Bethlehem to Egypt to avoid the evil King Herod.

“Well, not only was Jesus a rebel, but Jesus was an undocumented immigrant himself when he fled to Egypt seeking persecution in his day” he said in a debate with S.E Cupp.
