‘I have the best Husband in the World’, Mrs Janay Rice declares barely a year after domestic assault

With reports that he has reached a grievance settlement with former club, Baltimore Ravens for cutting him out of after the elevator assault last year 2014, Ray Rice treated his wife, Mrs Janay Rice to a super treat on her birthday on Wednesday.

Sources say that the footballer organized ''a day-long celebration for Janay ... with a dinner party, private celebrity chef, fancy cake and a special appearance by a former teammate.’’

After the long hour party, Janay Rice posted on social media that her husband is the best partner in the whole world.

"I literally have the best husband in the world. He went above and beyond to make my birthday special."

Ray and wife have been supportive toward each other since video of him knocking out the mother of one in an elevator emerged. It led to his drop from Ravens and subsequent ban from the NFL.

However, appeals by fellow teammates and other NFL stars secured a comeback opportunity for Ray, the 27 year-old running-back father and husband.
