The year is almost in its fourth quarter, and Nigerian music is slowly working its way up to the peak of music releases.

A number of top Nigerian acts are currently leading this charge to the top, and September promises to be the month where they all converge with new albums, promotional singles, music videos, and entertaining interviews.

Wizkid has arguably the most anticipated album this year. With collaborations with Chris Brown and Angelique Kidjo this looks like one to be savoured. Singles off this LP include the banging ‘Expensive shit’, but a new release is in the works titled ‘Sade’.

Jesse Jagz will be joining the ranks of artistes who are releasing albums this September. The new name for the September album is an interesting change. Jesse Jagz had early in the year announced his intention to call his next album ‘Odyssey’. Another album, which will be released for free titled ‘Gunspiracy Theory’, is also planned for release.

The producer/singer had earlier signed an exclusive deal via his label, Aristokrat Recordsto release his album with Sony Music Entertainment Africa.

The album features heavy weight African artists such as 2face Idibia, Wizkid, Cassper Nyovest, Naeto C, Nneka, Wande Coal, Burna Boy, Phyno, Pucado and more.
