The current deal with Barclays runs out undefined.

The British bank reportedly opted out of a renewal over fears that the cost of the next sponsorship deal will rise with Sky and BT Sport paying a record £5.1billion for TV rights from the start of the 2016 season.

Their fears seem to be have come to pass as a new £135m offer from Guinness, a £5m-a-year increase on the payments from Barclays has been rejected.

The £40m per year offer from Guinness has been rejected as the Premier League look to get at least a £60m.

The offer from Guinness was also reportedly rejected because some teams have conflicting beer deals.
