Timofey Mozgov joins Cleveland Cavaliers

Mozgov has played 35 games for the Denver Nuggets this season, averaging 8.5 points and 7.8 rebounds.

The 28-year-old, 216cm Russian joins the Cavs in exchange for two protected 2015 first-round picks, while Cleveland get a second-round pick.

Mozgov reunites with former Russia coach and current Cavs boss David Blatt, with whom he won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics.

The Cavs held a 19-16 win-loss record heading into their clash against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.

However, there have been reports of a rift developing " and the Cavs have been beaten in six of their past eight outings.
