Earlier in December last year, Skype’s live translation tool was released in preview to desktop users, now Microsoft has announced that the tool is rolling out to all users, according to various media reports.

According to a report by Techloy, the Translator feature now supports English, French, German, Italian, Mandarin, Spanish, and 50 messaging languages for the Windows desktop app.

The company says the app get intelligent as more people use it, as a result of the machine learning technology which it’s based on, and user feedback from the preview release.

When you receive the update, you will notice a new Skype translator icon within the app interface. Once you see this new icon that means your Skype app is ready to start translating.
