Microsoft builds robot that tries to guess your age
Microsoft's How old app tries to guess your age.
So, how old do you look to a computer that does nothing but guess ages? As an experiment, Microsoft’s machine-learning team has built a site that tries (with varying success) to guess the age of those in any picture you throw to it.

Over the weekend, social media was awash with images and screenshots of Microsoft’s age-guessing robot. Users on Facebook and Twitter had a good time attempting to use the robot to guess the age of their friends, families and favorite celebrities.

They say they had put it up hoping that “perhaps 50 users” would try it out. However, within hours it was already getting hit by tens of thousands of people.
You can upload any photo under 3MB, which means people have been trying all sorts of stuff. How old does your dog look? Or that poster on your wall.
An important thing to note is that the backend of the app is constantly searching for new photos/data it can learn from. You can get Microsoft’s How-Old App here.
