Recall a teaser for ‘The Rainmaker’ ad plus news of a huge surprise left users wondering if Airtel was finally set to premiere an original content on the recently launched Airtel TV app. It turns out that the anticipated surprise is finally here with the unveiling of a new data campaign. 

As expected, the new ad banks on Airtel’s renowned storytelling style, this time hilariously focusing on the pecks of having reliable data. The one-minute commercial features Jude Chukwuka as an unreliable rainmaker and Jide Kosoko as Oba who struggles with the disappointment of having rain interrupt his festivities.
