Auto manufacturer delves into car sharing service

BMW has branched into something new, a car-sharing program called DriveNow and ReachNow in the United States.

According to Motorauthority, this service is called DriveNow.

However, it is referred to as ReachNow in the United States of America.

Unlike other car sharing services, BMW intends to help consumers, who struggle to find parking spaces in highly urban areas.

This program also gives users the opportunity to book vehicles for an extended period of time, up to several days.

After accessing the ReachNow app, and paying the standard rate of 49 cents per minute with a special key, users gain access to i3 electric cars, 3-Series sedans and Mini Cooper hatchbacks, for now.

Future plans for the program include providing a ride-sharing option, along with a self driving car option.
