The pair were allowed to fly home to Australia ahead of upcoming tours to the West Indies and England after Kings XI's chances of reaching the IPL play-offs were ended.

Neither Johnson " who has taken nine wickets at 37.33 " or Marsh " who has scored 81 runs at 20.25 " have flourished for Kings XI as they have struggled in the IPL.

After 11 games, they are rooted to the bottom of the table with just two wins and four points.
