LuciferIs Officially Coming Back for a Fifth Season on Netflix
Now, Henderson and Modrovich are thanking those fans for standing by the show. As Entertainment Weekly reports, the duo said in a statement: "We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms. Most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support. The best is yet to come!"
Netflix added that they're "thrilled that Lucifer fans around the world have embraced this series on Netflix, and we cant wait to give them the big finish theyve all been waiting for," but they didn't announce when the new season would premiere.

Lucifer's lead actor Tom Ellis also commented on the renewal news with a thoughtful shoutout to the "#lucifans."

Lucifer is based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Lucifer Morningstar first appeared in the comic book series The Sandman, and on the show, he abandons hell and heads to Los Angeles, where he starts to runs his own nightclub and later becomes a consultant for the LAPD to take down criminals.
The show also stars Lauren German, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Scarlett Estevez, D.B. Woodside, and Rachael Harris
