Art's finest converge for the Lagos Art And Fashion Gala

December is set to witness a gathering of some of art and fashion's finest as the maiden edition of the Lagos Art and Fashion Gala (LAFGA) holds.

The event which will hold on the 6th and 7th of December  will showcase over 40 young designers and veteran artists like Polly Alakija and Adeola Balogun as well as photographers and sculptors.

Speaking on the show, event coordinator Media Director, 21st Century Projects, Elohor Freeman said an  unconventional approach was being taken to provide an atmosphere of freedom which will resonate with the creative spirit of African designers and artists.

The event will see participants from across the world including Amsterdam, Ivory Coast, Togo and London.

There will also be Coke Studio for young musicians, seminars, workshops and live music competitions aimed at encouraging artists and designers.
