"Biafran passport is accepted in Europe and America"

A Biafran passport is perfectly valid and costs N5,000, it is also accepted in countries around the world.

This is according to the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) National Director of Information, Sunny Okereafor.

Speaking with Vanguard, Okereafor said the Biafran passport is accepted in countries around the world except Nigeria.

He therefore  warned the federal government to stop seizing Biafra passports or threatening its holders.

Said Okereafor,

"In Europe, North and South America, Biafra passport is accepted. Nigeria is the only country that seizes Biafran passport. Go to neighbouring Ghana here, they will stamp the passport for you. Don’t be confused by the propaganda of the Nigerian government that there is nothing like Biafra passport."

He added that  the Biafran passport costs N5, 000 and could be renewed with N2, 000 while denying reports that people who bought the passport were being turned back at various airports.
