Footwear and menswear brand collaborate on new sneakers

You cannot over emphasize the impact that Common Projects has had on menswear since it started ten years ago. The brand showed that guys can dedicate as much attention to their high quality sneakers as they would their work shoes.

However, its significant original Achilles introduced an era of minimalist sneakers that works for everything from a tracksuit to suits, inspiring the laid back guys in the process.

So, when the news of the collaboration  came about, we expected to see illustrations of various kinds. We were wrong, as the only tweak from the original is the CP’s serial number, which is now in black instead of gold. Nonetheless, a valuable subtle shift that speaks volumes.
