Nokia Launches Two New Asha Devices Amidst Pomp & Peagentry

Nokia was all about connecting people on Friday, 12th July as they held a one-of-a-kind launch party at the Grandeur Events centre, Oregun for the all-new Nokia Asha devices; the Nokia Asha 210, a dual SIM device that comes with a 2.4 inch LCD display screen, fast and responsive QWERTY and WiFi connection and the Asha 501 the first of its kind in the new era of Nokia’s Asha devices using the new faster and better Asha operating system.

It was a super-charged event with thrilling performances from hip hop heads like Mode 9, Show Dem Camp, Eva and rave of the moments K9, Olamide and Phyno while foremost dance group, Dance Na the Main Thing (DNMT) was also on hand to thrill the already frenzied crowd. Speaking at the event, Marketing Manager Nokia, Kesiena Ogbemi also announced the commencement of the second round of the Nokia Don’t Break Da Beat rap competition in partnership with Trace TV with a reward price of $20,000.

With 6 million users with browsers, he further said that this year’s competition will involve more online engagement, as interested participants will have to make entries via online platforms. With exciting performances, an engaging compere in the person of Jimmy of Beat 99.9fm who played host of the event and an abundance of party people, it is safe to say that there ain't no party like a Nokia party!
