Leicester vs Aston Villa: Foxes drop more points, Ademola features, Iheanacho ignored
It was another bad day in the Premier League Nigerian duo of Ademola Lookman, Kelechi Iheanacho and their club Leicester City after a goalless affair at home with Aston Villa.
For the third consecutive match, the Foxes have dropped valuable points following a 0-0 draw with Villa at the King Power on Saturday.
Leicester have now failed to win any of their last three matches in the Premier League, with two draws and a defeat in that time.
Super Eagles star Lookman started the game and played for 80 minutes but was expertly caged by the visitor's defence.
The 24-year-old had a quiet match as he failed to create a single chance or attempt a shot in the time he spent on the pitch.
He has played 22 matches for the Foxes, scoring six goals in the PL this campaign.
Iheanacho ignored as Vardy returns
Meanwhile, it was a no-show for Lookman's compatriot at the club, Kelechi Iheanacho, who was dropped after fans criticised him for his performance against Everton the last time.
Iheanacho was an unused substitute with returning striker, Jamie Vardy, preferred to the Nigerian by Leicester manager, Brendan Rodgers.
The senior man has made 23 appearances in the PL this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
