Girl goes viral after getting a tattoo to remind people she's deaf in one ear

Imgur user Raingoose posted the image online saying she was tired of reminding people not to speak into her deaf ear.

So she decided to ink a a tiny tattoo of a speaker icon with an "X" beside it.

"I thought this was a friendly [way] to remind the world not to talk to me from the left," she wrote.

Other Imgur users thought she was creative and innovative.

"Totally stealing your idea!" user DactylicHexameter wrote.

Raingoose also offered some sage advice to people who share her disability.

"Don't worry, I know it sucks so bad," she wrote.

"But eventually you'll get used to it and it will be a tiny little thing that is a part of you."
