After being the joke of the Internet for far so long,

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye aka The Weeknd decided to bless us with his new hairstyle:

He explained “I come alive in the fall,” giving us a crisp face cap style, replacing his signature abstract twist of dreadlocks.
