Singer drops new album after four years
Frank Ocean follows up to his acclaimed “ Channel Orange” 2012 debut album with two successive albums “Endless” - a visual album, and a yet to be released one which is to have its name changed from its initial announced "Boys Dont Cry".
The singer was earlier expected to drop his sophomore album with the title "Boys don't cry" as reported by New York Times earlier in the month but pulled a surprise when he dropped one with the title "Endless".
Rolling Stone had gathered that the R&B singer decided to scrap the initial title - “Boy’s don’t cry” for an alternate one.
"Endless ", a visual album features an array of diverse musicians, including Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, James Blake, Jazmine Sullivan and more.
The other separate album is slated for release this weekend.
The singer is best known for his singles ‘Thinking about you’ and ‘Novacane’ off the "Channel Orange” album.
Apple has also released a series of Ocean-related playlists ahead of his upcoming LP, including 'The Rise of Frank Ocean,' 'Frank Ocean Samples ' and Frank Ocean's Most Shazamed Tracks.
