Marenikae delivers a riveting cover of 'Runaway' by Styl Plus

On Saturday, October 23, 2021, Pulse Nigeria's Instagram page published a video of an emerging singer named, Marenikae, as she performed a cover of Styl Plus' classic number, 'Runaway.'

Backed by a full band, orchestra and backing singers, Marenikae delivered a refix on the classic in her signature in her signature mezzo. She then switches up the tempo of the performance around the middle of the record.

'Runaway' was released on Styl Plus' second project, Expressions in 2006.
